FOR PRICING & SPECS ON THIS CAR VISIT: www.kbb.com 2009 Dodge Journey. On paper, the Dodge Journey looks like a vehicle that covers all the bases. Its comparable in size to the Toyota RAV4 and Hyundai Santa Fe, offering three row seating, a plethora of unique storage and entertainment options and the choice of four or six-cylinder engines. But what looks good on paper doesnt always translate into real world performance. Such is the case with the Dodge Journey, a crossover SUV with strong conceptual appeal thats in need of a bit more interior refinement and quality control. Is it a pile of shite or what didn’t test the 2litre diesel
@a176 whoa woad man me and my family just took an 800 mile trip in this car and it was just fine i didn’t have a complaint now who is gonna know more a person who is judging it or a person that took an 800 mile trip in it?
my mom bought this vehicle and its great. we loaded our se with our own things, and i love everything about the car. if u dont know it, dont judge it!!
$35,000 for a Dodge!?!?!
It’s OK, but the interior just really sucks.
If you paid any kind of money for this, you got robbed. Owners trying to “defend” this vehicle aren’t fooling anybody. I have never driven such a badly designed vehicle. And people wonder why Chrysler went bankrupt.
crap
buy European
@wmralder Enjoy your initial quality. Also, enjoy sitting at the service department constantly after you pass 50k mi. I’ll just roll in my vehicle that has a flawless service history and non-plastic parts.
well, you gotta leave those people alone, when they say something that make no sense. you already know they just don’t like the name. For those who has no idea, The chassis platform is the same with Mitsubishi vehicles. The 2.4 is the GEMA, same block they used in Mitsubishi. I heard so many hatre against domestic brand, but they just shooting their own foot
@stopxthisxfall You have a real hate on for Chryslers. I don’t know where it comes from but it’s tiring. You’re so far off it should be funny but it’s not. I own a loaded SXT and it has been both reliable and a joy to drive and own. Get your head out of your a** and grow up.
Death trap? This vehicle is one of 27 with a top safety pick from the IIHS. Toyota didn’t get on that list. Chrysler/Dodge makes great affordable vehicles with impressive styling and great safety ratings. I’m sorry but in the same class look at Rav4, CRV, Escape they fall short on styling. Maybe they need to invest more in small engines but with the merge with Fiat it looks like they are working on it. All I’m saying is that ppl should give it a chance.
This car is horrible and a death trap. To read my issues please check this link. I almost got hit because of transmission issues and still not corrected. DEATH TRAP.

@2mydog about$23.000 Canadian
looks dope in black.
how much does the v6 cost
@parekh09 As if it somehow negates the fact that the car is still mechanically a piece of shit.
@stopxthisxfall
cooler is not IN the golve box, directly above it. pretty smart idea too
@arbobrady
i recommend gettin the V6, the four cylinder isnt much more fuel efficient, makes alot of noise too. Both are great tho upto you, just a recommendation from experience with this car.
@fp3shb
better than no third row at all tho. comes in handy, not that bad, the 2nd row nicely folds forward with one button, doors open 90 degrees, really easy to bet in
@vipermoon64
actually gear shifter’s not that bad. i have family that has one of these, its pretty nice..way better then many hondas and toyotas
@heartlessvietboy Your entry is the biggest lie I’ve seen in my life. Are you f**king kidding?
to me the interior looks fine. only problem is that gear shifter being slanted. plus it looks great from the outside. way better than those jap cars
no the cooler thingy is separate from the glovebox. its over the glovebox. its a pretty nice features for extra cup holders
i was going to buy that but instead i opted for the ford escape much more happier with my purchase besides the journey is more expensive
i have one and i love it it also has the 4cyl and i love the gas mileage.this car will work perfect for me and my wife.
