I’m thinking about getting the new Dodge Challenger with the 3.5 litre V6. Just curious about how reliable it is.
Thanks

for what it is their a real reliable engine considering all the bad talk about them, their just a little under powered for that car,but they do alright,if you drive one of the faster ones and then get in one with a 3.5 in it you,ll think your setting still, its not going to beat a mustang v-6 but for what it is its alright, its an affordable version of the challenger, don’t try and race no one with it though you might get beat, they been using those engines in the charger, and they hold up good, good luck.
I own a 2009 R/T Challenger and the V-8 is awesome, but the best of the best out of all three.
The V-6 would be great to save money on gas and still have the pretty looks.
Upgrading to the V-8 will of course bring you power, but if you “step on it” your money will fly out of your wallet. Whats nice about the V-8 is that at cruise speeds (when you don’t step on it) it switches to a 4 cylinder. But the V-6 will hold of up great! They are fabulous cars. One thing, be aware of your right rear rocker quarter panel. I had to have mine fixed and so did some other owners from the Challenger forum site.
